Start here for New Years Eve listening

"I was in an audience yesterday, and a guy yelled, 'Hey, Casey Kasem!' (if you click this link you'll get an R-Rated outtake its in the center of the page to the left) I said, 'No, not quite.'" --- "New Year's Rockin' Eve" host DICK CLARK, 77(yes he's 77) to Time Out New York magazine. Dick Clark will be part of the live coverage from US broadcaster ABC. This show will have been on the air for thirty five years as of 2007's broadcast. Co host is Ryan Seacreast..you know the guy from E or American Idol.


Lets start New Years Eve at 1000 UTC or 5 AM eastern,

The first country you might hear is Wallis island in the South Pacific it's a French posseion and you will need quicktime to hear RFO. You can find Tonga but it's not a real webcast just an mp3 mix. RFO is a national network with local cut ins.

1015 Chatam Island off the New Zealand coast, Nothing to hear here.

1100 The essential 500 as voted by listeners to More FM in New Zealand.
As you get to 2008 you will get the top ten, listen early to this one.
Radio New Zealand carries everything, you might here some PBS programming or even Garrison Keller. It's streaming with Windows Media.

1200 The only thing you can hear is Palau and they have changed format. News and soft AC when I listened. Try it and it's also Windows Media. Fiji, this island has four radio stations not one of them is streaming, though you can find Windows Media player ready to go.

1300, now 8 am on the US East Coast.
Try these stations. NRJ a rock station in Noumea New Caledonia. It's French language CHR or top forty rock.

Syndeys talk station always does something for the New Year don't miss it. TV always goes live with the Fireworks you can to, at 8 pm local time that's 0900 UTC or 4 AM eastern.
Also at midnight try here You can also find three other cams that focus on the harbour bridge.

Biggest change you will find this year is the dominance of Windows Media.
